author presentation historical fiction My books school visits
Yipee! Looks like the release date for my new book, The Locket: Surviving the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire, has been moved up to April 1, 2008.
I’ll be using the book as the basis for a new presentation I will make at schools called Bringing the Past to Life: Tips for Writing Historical Fiction.
If you’d like to book me for an author visit at your school, send an email to suzanne@workingwriterscoach.com and I’ll let you know the dates and times I have available this spring.
If I make a presentation at your school, I’ll even donate a copy of my new book to your school library.

This school year, when I make school visits, I’ll be talking about my newest book for children called States:The People, Landmarks, and Highlights of the 50 States. This book includes a 6-foot-long wall chart with interesting facts about each of the 50 states and Washington, D.C.
I’ll also donate a copy of the book for the school library whenever I make a school visit.
